Gameweek 4
Welcome to gameweek 4 of Fantasy Football. The Chelsea boys dominate this weeks headlines, behind Wayne Rooney as his prostitute, as they travel to Upton Park expecting to pick up a further three points and a number of goals. Lampard is overdue a kick start to this season and may come across it this week.
My suggestions for this gameweek are: Andy Carroll (a cheap player who is in form against an average at best Blackpool side ).
Konchesky (After moving to Liverpool his price tag is still only 5m which is very good provided he plays.
Tip of the week: Try having your keeper and defenders all from different clubs to limit heavy point losses.

 Gameweek 3

Here is the first edition of hot topics surrounding the phenomenon that is Fantasy Football. As I, the aforementioned Stewart Aisthorpe have nothing better to do and cannot access Facebook, I have decided to share with you my thoughts on the up and coming gameweeks. Having missed the first two gameweeks, the first edition of “Aisthorpes Hot Topics” takes place in preparation for gameweek 3.

Gameweek 3

Firstly I would like to draw you to the fixtures for this gameweek. Every gameweek it is vital that we assess who has the easier gameweek in order to view where we might make our transfer/s. Players from the following teams I expect to do well this week:

Manchester United

Chelsea

Liverpool

Fulham

Tottenham.
Teams that would be more of a risk include: Newcastle - who face Wolves away and take with them great team confidence after beating Villa 6-0.
I expect the following usual suspects to be impressive enough to keep or move into your team with little risk:
Drogba

Lampard

Cole

Terry

Malouda

Rooney

Fabregas

Bale
Most teams will contain some of these players. Less consistent and lesser-proven players however need to fill a large amount of a manager’s team as they provide the much needed financial savings. Here are my ‘Bargain Buckets’ for this gameweek:
David Ngog. Possibly the in form hit man of the Barclaycards Premiership, David Ngog scored a ‘worldy’ against a tough Arsenal back four and has scored two in Europe already. Massively underrated at 5.5m and with Torres not fully fit Ngog is a probable starter. With Cole coming back however he is a risk but possibly one worth taking.

Stockdale. Stockdale is expected to start again for Fulham on Saturday against relegation favourites Blackpool. Having already scored 16 points, Stockdale is more than value for money if your current keeper looks dodgy at a safer than houses price of 4m.
A. Carroll - Possibly a one off, Carroll scored a hat trick against a mixed Villa side and in the process gained 17 points last week. He is only 5.5m and could be worth a free transfer against relegation candidates Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Nolan - For the same reasons as Carroll, Kevin Nolan has been suggested. Nolan is at the heart of most Newcastle attacks and with them being on such a high he can expect to feature this week in some capacity. Any Newcastle player can be taken this week, but probably on a weeklong loan only as I expect them to face tougher competition in the upcoming weeks.
C.Adam - Penalty taker, free kick taker, top scorer, top assister. Sadly all for Blackpool. He is a risk but at least will not lose a host of points for conceding goals. Eamonn Moore’s favourite premiership player.
Elmander - The Bolton front man scored and got one assist last week. He is also only 5.5m so may be worth a pop for those that put Robbie Keane in their team expecting him to play more games this season.
Zamora - The Fulham man faces up against the Bloomfield massive. I expect him to score or at the very least get one assist. I think the only thing he will find difficult about the Blackpool atmosphere will be harsh and unfounded criticisms of Fulham’s 7-0 victory on Eamonn Moore’s facebook statuses.
If you are feeling the heat already, perhaps you would like to use your wildcard. I have compiled below a team I expect to get a lot of points this week:
Gk - Stockdale

Df - Dawson

Df - G.Johnson

Df - Evra

Mf - Lampard (c)

Mf - Malouda

Mf - Gerard

Mf - Bale

Fwd - Ngog

Fwd - Elmander (Drogba) If affordable.

Fwd - Zamora
